Disability Rights Commission

Developing a strategy for accessible publishing

Developing accessible electronic publishing services

Shortly after its establishment in 1999, the Disability Rights Commission (DRC) required an investigation and set of recommendations on how best to establish an accessible publishing strategy.

Following on from the consultancy on general publishing, the DRC commissioned an investigation and set of recommendations concerning the development of electronic publishing services, including an outline business case and draft tender specification for their new web site (launched early 2003).

The DRC merged into the Equality and Human Rights Commission in 2005.
