Supporting unpaid carers during the pandemic
When the coronavirus pandemic struck in 2020, there was an obvious and urgent need to support unpaid and informal carers. This group do not have the resources to access professional training, yet they provide critical at home support for family and loved ones. Thanks to a grant from the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust, I have been able to tailor CuppaCare - the mobile microlearning service of which I am the founder - to deliver tailored content free at the point of use for unpaid and informal carers in my local area of Dorset. Conducted in partnership with the Dorset Carers Hub.
